Want to learn to fly fish? Or just refine your skills? Peggy offers beginners to intermediate instruction targeted to women, but men and family groups are welcome too. Having your partner or whole family enjoying fly fishing opens a wide possibility for exciting trips with a built-in fishing partner! Learn to Fish: Beginner Classes
Peggy offers classes for beginners, no experience necessary! The class will cover everything you need to know to be a competent angler including information on: equipment, flies, bugs, knots, safety, river etiquette, reading the water and casting. The morning is spent in a classroom setting then, after lunch, you’re off to the river for casting and discussion on where to fish. You can join a class offered 2-3 times a summer or organize your own group! A nice outing is a day learning then off to Quinn’s Hot Springs to relax!
Group lessons are $90 per person for the pre-set dates. Private lessons for only your group is $100 per person. These both include: instruction, handouts, equipment and lunch. You are welcome to bring your own equipment. Class size is limited to 4-5 people so everyone can enjoy personal attention! However, larger groups may be able to be accommodated- just call to discuss.
